The Animal styles in Kung Fu

Among the many variations in Kung Fu there are an assortment of five various animals in Kung Fu, also known as the fist forms in Kung Fu. The animal styles in Kung Fu are known as some of the most deadly styles that you can study. No other form in Kung Fu is as powerful as the forms of the assortment of five animals. These forms in Kung fu were derived from the animals of which they take their name. Listed below are the assortments of animals in Kung Fu.

The Claw of the Dragon: It is the Chinese belief that this animal style in Kung Fu actually came from directly from the dragon, making this style very well known. Grabbing your opponent and throwing them allowing you to control them is the technique of the Dragon Claw Kung Fu. The Claw of the Dragon is a technique that uses open handed attacks. The attacks of the Claw of the Dragon Kung Fu are fast strikes which are hard to defend against and is almost very unpredictable.

The Beak of the Crane: Using the Beak of the Crane animal style in Kung Fu, the attacks are targeted for the most vital areas of the opponents˘ body. The Beak of the Crane technique is a striking surface based at the stylist’s fingertips with the fingers being pressed tightly together. Using this technique the strength of the fingers can reach a very high level.

The Claw of the Leopard: A half opened fist attack is that of the Claw of the Leopard.  With this animal style in Kung Fu, the ridge of the hand is used when striking your opponent. The folding of the fingers towards the palm is how to form the ridge of the hand. The palm of the hand is also used as a secondary striking weapon. The strikes of the Claw of the Leopard animal style are fast like those of the Claw of the Dragon and also with enough power and technique can be very lethal to the opponent.

The Head of the Snake: Resembling a snake puffed and ready to attack in combat is the animal style known as the Head of the Snake. This technique uses an open handed strike with fingers fully extended and held tightly together. The softest and most vital areas on the opponent’s body are attacked using the hard surface formed by the fully extended fingers. For ultimate effectiveness of the Head of the Snake form Kung Fu, both hands being used together are the correct way.

The Claw of the Tiger: Tearing and grabbing with an open handed movement is the animal style of the Claw of the Tiger. Within the 5 animal styles in Kung Fu, the Claw of the Tiger is the most well known. Not only s it the most well known animal style, but it is also the most known form in Kung Fu known in the martial arts system. When striking with the Claw of the Tiger animal style, it is not just the grabbing and gripping of your opponent, but the digging of the fingernails under the skin that gets to your opponent. A person who uses the style of the Claw of the Tiger can tear the opponent to pieces by shredding the skin off the bone once the fingernails have been embedded into the skin. Being one of the deadliest forms of martial arts in the world, the animal style in Kung Fu known as the Claw of the Tiger is very powerful and effective.

Among the martial arts system these various animal styles in Kung Fu are the most deadly and the most popular. Any martial artist can be more than capable of handling themselves in any confrontational situation if they know any one of these deadly styles in Kung Fu that are listed in this article.
